It was the worst day of my life. I had loads of pending work and the hours seemed to have shrunken down to minutes. I was working late and the only thing that kept me amused all night were the bright city lights that twinkled as I looked out the window, as if teasingly winking at me. It was a Friday night and the world out there was partying while I was stuck up with some research work for a presentation. I was sulking, obviously, but that surely was not going to help me, I had to complete my work at any cost.

So I was seated in front of my laptop on my desk and got back to what I was doing by doing a little research on the Internet, which was going to help me in making the presentation. As I was browsing through a website, I accidentally clicked on a link at the bottom of the page. Soon a window popped up with advertisements flashing all across it, asking me to buy something or the other. I closed it immediately and tried to get back to work but could not, as my screen was now flooded with these nasty and annoying advertisements.

I had loads of work and couldn’t believe my luck running out at the fag end of the day! I had a serious computer issue staring down on me. It was not at all acceptable! I was going to be in a big mess if I don’t get the work done on time. Sometime I just don’t understand why people rely so much on computers, which happens to be only a machine and can go wrong at any point in time. I could not think of any possible solution, I felt as if the blood from my brain was being drained out.

I was stunned, trying to think of a way out of this situation when my cousin Rob called me up. While he spoke to me, he sensed that I was a little tensed, and probed further. I told him all that had just happened and the mess my laptop was in. He immediately told me that I should get some technical assistance. On hearing this, I asked him what exactly he was suggesting. He then told me that he had once taken help from a company called iYogi to get his computer fixed. He had read about the company from an iYogi review page which he, himself, had also chanced upon some time back while browsing through some websites.

By the end of the call, he gave me their number and asked me to give them a call. Assuming that there was no better option available, I thought I should read up on an iYogi review page and find a good reason to believe in Rob’s recommendation before giving them a call. I was quite convinced after I read the review, and soon I was speaking to an online technician who greeted me and asked me for my name, e-mail ID etc. After giving out my contact details, he inquired about the problem that I was facing on my system. I narrated the whole incident to him right from the beginning till the end, after which he ran me through some steps and helped me perform them on my laptop. It took him nearly an hour to get my laptop fixed and run as good as new. I thanked him, disconnected the call and got back to accomplishing the task at hand.
